This is why I like Hunter Tracker so much

Kelly Hampton - Hunter and Blogger

As a hunter, I know how important it can be to do our homework for our hunts and to have the proper tools to do so. We live in a world full of technology…and while yes, we run off to the woods to get away from it all, our phones still follow many times. Phones are no longer just a phone after all. Well why take a phone you might ask? In the great outdoors, there is no service, no access to the world. (hence its appeal) However, we use them for so much more than making a phone call anymore. They are used as our alarm clocks, for taking pictures, and for checking emails just to name a few. With that, we also have the world of many apps we can add.

The app can quickly become a valuable tool to the hunter in the field. The Hunter Tracker app is certainly one that comes in handy. With its ability to download a map prior to leaving cell service, it gives us the ability to use it even when you are “out of the service area” which is most helpful. It provides us access to a compass, flashlight, game tracking ability, and weather info. Being able to check the weather, looking at the forecast--which includes deer activity and lunar info--is fantastic as we plan our hunt. How great is that!?! Tools we need, with less to carry. Having tools at our fingertips certainly gives us more confidence when going out in the woods. It can be easy to get turned around in the woods. Knowing that we have a good reliable map can certainly put our minds at ease. I used this app on my last deer hunt, and it was certainly one that came in handy for myself. If you do not have this app, it is one you need to add. Thanks for reading, and happy hunting to you all!
